Unsettled conditions to bring intermittent rain across Albania today

Relatively unstable atmospheric conditions are expected to dominate today, bringing variable skies and intermittent showers across Albania. Forecasters anticipate moderate to thick cloud cover with occasional breaks. Localized showers are likely in the first part of the day.
From midday into the afternoon, light, on‑and‑off rain is forecast across most areas. Short‑lived thunderstorms may develop in a localized manner along the mountainous reliefs in the south. Intermittent, locally driven showers are also expected to persist over the northern highlands.
Winds will blow from the northwest to southwest at an average speed of about 7 m/s. Sea conditions in the Adriatic and Ionian are expected to be slight, at force 1–2. Conditions are set to vary through the day as cloud cover thickens and thins, with the most notable activity confined to higher terrain in the south and north.
