Samsung's India R&D units launch 2026 Mobile Advance to back deep-tech startups
Samsung’s India R&D units have launched the 2026 Mobile Advance programme, opening a new round of support for deep-tech startups that includes funding and a potential route to integrate with the company’s global mobile device ecosystem. The 2026 edition of Samsung Mobile Advance will focus on a broad slate of technology areas.
According to the announcement, priorities include AI, XR, security, health, camera, audio and wearables. The programme is aimed at connecting early-stage deep-tech innovation with Samsung’s mobile hardware and software platforms, with selected startups offered funding support and opportunities for ecosystem integration.
With this launch, Samsung is expanding its startup push in India while signaling the domains where it is seeking collaborative innovation for future mobile devices and experiences.
