Revealed Aboriginal art showcase returns to Boorloo (Perth) on 18 April 2026

Revealed, Western Australia’s top Aboriginal art showcase, will return to Boorloo (Perth) on 18 April 2026 with a free exhibition and vibrant open-air art market spotlighting the breadth of Aboriginal creativity across the State. More than 100 new and emerging artists will be featured.
The one-day Revealed Art Market will take place at WA Museum Boola Bardip on 18 April, while the exhibition will run at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) from 18 April to 14 June. The program is presented by the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub of Western Australia and backed by $310,000 in Cook Labor Government funding.
Curated by Whadjuk, Ballardong and Wilman Noongar artist and curator Zali Morgan, the exhibition provides a platform for artists—many from remote and regional communities—to share their stories with new audiences. Both the exhibition and market offer a chance to purchase original artworks directly from artists and art centres.
The market will be supported by a family-friendly program of dance, music, talks and activities. All events are free and open to the public. Creative Industries Minister Simone McGurk said: “Revealed is a powerful celebration of the extraordinary talent and culture of Aboriginal artists from across Western Australia.
This event provides a unique opportunity to experience contemporary Aboriginal art and hear the stories behind the works directly from the artists. I encourage everyone to visit the exhibition at PICA and head along to the art market at WA Museum Boola Bardip to experience the vibrancy and creativity of Aboriginal art firsthand.”
