Reports: Liverpool, Bayern monitor Spurs' Archie Gray as Arsenal said to lead Anthony Gordon chase

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are exploring a summer move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Archie Gray, according to reports, as Europe’s leading clubs begin to position for the window. Arsenal are also said to be at the front of the pack for Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon.
Gray, 20, is described as one of several Spurs players who could be moved on if the club suffer relegation from the Premier League this season, with both Liverpool and Bayern keeping close tabs on his situation. The same reports indicate teammate Lucas Bergvall, also 20, could attract bids, with Chelsea and Aston Villa admiring the midfielder.
Arsenal are reported to be in the strongest position to land Gordon, 25, who is understood to prefer a move to London if he leaves Tyneside this summer. Liverpool and Bayern are also monitoring the winger, and there is a belief that an offer of £75 million could persuade Newcastle to sell.
The report adds that he scored 10 goals in Newcastle’s UEFA Champions League campaign this season. Elsewhere, Barcelona, Arsenal and Napoli are tracking Palmeiras defender Luiz Benedetti. Reports in Spain say the clubs have held long-standing interest in the 19-year-old, with Como manager Cesc Fabregas identifying him as a potential replacement for defender Jacobo Ramón.
Palmeiras extended Benedetti’s contract through December 2029 last year, but it is said they would consider offers around €25 million. At Liverpool, midfielder Alexis Mac Allister is on the radar of several European clubs, with suggestions he could be offloaded in the summer as part of a wider reset that could involve as many as nine departures.
One of those linked with a potential exit is Joe Gomez, with AC Milan, Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace said to be interested. Gomez, 28, joined Liverpool from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2015 and is reportedly open to a new challenge. In Spain, Barcelona could pass on activating a permanent option to sign on-loan Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford for €30 million, amid concern over his recent form.
The forward has scored two goals in his last 16 matches, and the Catalan club are reported to be exploring alternatives for the summer.
Other whispers around Europe include Manchester United and Fulham joining Napoli and Inter Milan in the race to sign Benfica’s Colombia international midfielder Richard Ríos; Barcelona exploring a move for Bayer Leverkusen left-back Alejandro Grimaldo; Chelsea defender Levi Colwill expected to sign a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge; AC Milan weighing up a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic; Chelsea entering the race for Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi; and Sevilla considering an approach to take Liverpool goalkeeper Armin Pecsi on loan.
With the summer window approaching, these moves remain at the rumor stage, but the early maneuvering points to a busy few months for several Premier League clubs and their European counterparts.
