Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ surpasses ‘Baahubali 2’ worldwide gross after strong seventh Saturday

Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller Dhurandhar 2 pulled in Rs 2.40 crore on its seventh Saturday, a late-run surge that, according to Sacnilk box office data, nudged the film past Baahubali 2 to second place among worldwide Indian grossers. Despite new titles such as Raja Shivaji and Bhooth Bangla taking up screens, the Hindi version maintained a 33.0% occupancy on Saturday.
After weekdays hovering around the Rs 1 crore mark, the jump suggests steady family audience interest even after 45 days in theatres during the film’s seventh week. As per Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 has amassed Rs 1,788.32 crore worldwide, edging Baahubali 2’s lifetime gross of Rs 1,788.06 crore.
In India, the film has collected Rs 1,138.54 crore net, with an overall domestic gross of Rs 1,362.57 crore. Overseas earnings stand at Rs 425.75 crore. The film remains behind Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which has a lifetime gross of over Rs 2,000 crore. Dhurandhar 2—the Aditya Dhar-directed film—was the fastest Bollywood title to reach several benchmarks, including crossing Rs 1,000 crore net in India by Day 18.
In South India alone, it is nearing a Rs 300 crore gross milestone, marking another record for a non–South Indian film. The film could have earned more had it secured releases in GCC countries and China, a privilege that Dangal had. With screens gradually reducing in its seventh week, Dhurandhar 2 continues to add smaller increments to its total.
Early estimates indicate a possibly final lifetime gross near Rs 1,830 crore, while it holds second position among worldwide Indian grossers based on Sacnilk’s listings.
