QC Ware sets June dates for fifth Q2B Tokyo; Quemix to co‑host and showcase industrial use cases
QC Ware has scheduled the fifth Q2B Tokyo conference for June 4–5, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, aiming to connect Asia’s rapidly developing quantum ecosystem with global industry and research. The company announced the dates on April 21 and said Japan-based Quemix will serve as co‑host and Platinum Sponsor.
Organizers said the program will span the major fronts of quantum research and deployment—computing, sensing, communications, security, error correction, quantum AI, and integration with high‑performance computing. The two‑day agenda includes keynotes, business seminars, breakout sessions, technical workshops, and panel discussions featuring participants from government, academia, and industry.
An exhibit floor will showcase advances from a range of companies, with vendors such as Quantinuum, IonQ, D‑Wave, Fujitsu, IQM, Quantum Machines, and Q‑CTRL among those set to appear. Quemix CEO and president Yu‑ichiro Matsushita said the company is “proud to once again serve as a co‑organizer for Q2B Tokyo,” noting that sessions will examine practical use cases implemented on real quantum devices.
A key highlight, he added, will be Quemix’s presentation of six industrial use cases demonstrating progress in real‑world applications across the automotive and materials sectors.
QC Ware CEO Matt Johnson said the event will provide practical updates from leading quantum hardware and software developers and described Japan and Asia’s quantum ecosystems as “incredibly dynamic and exciting.” The conference is designed to bring together quantum specialists across computing, AI, telecommunications, sensing, finance, automotive, chemicals, and more.
Organizers said attendees can expect updates on applications in optimization, chemistry simulation, pharmaceutical and materials discovery, error correction, and quantum AI when Q2B Tokyo convenes in early June.
