Kuwait defence minister inspects army units, reviews readiness amid regional tensions
Kuwait City, Apr 4 — Defence Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah conducted a field inspection tour on Sunday of several Kuwaiti Army units and sites to review operational progress and assess combat readiness amid current regional tensions.
During the visit, the minister stressed the need to sustain high levels of preparedness and to carry out duties with full responsibility in the face of evolving security challenges. He examined the readiness of military personnel and their operational efficiency in the field.
Sheikh Abdullah commended the armed forces for their vigilance and commitment to national defence duties under prevailing circumstances, acknowledging the efforts of servicemen and women across the units he visited. The tour forms part of ongoing efforts by Kuwait’s military leadership to ensure the sustained readiness of the armed forces and reinforce operational capabilities in response to regional developments.
