ENR FutureTech 2026 to convene AEC and tech leaders in San Francisco on May 5–6
Silicon Valley firms and construction executives are set to meet in San Francisco as ENR FutureTech 2026 brings architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) leaders together on May 5–6 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square. A welcome reception is scheduled for the evening of May 4.
Now in its 16th year, the conference is designed to connect AEC professionals with technology creators, investors and innovators. Organizers say the program aims to narrow the gap between the construction sector’s economic scale and its pace of technology adoption, highlighting tools such as automatic reality‑capture data processing, jobsite robotics and artificial intelligence.
The gathering comes as the industry faces what organizers describe as a significant labor crunch and mounting pressure to deliver projects faster, safer and at lower cost. Companies registered to attend include Amazon, AWS, DroneDeploy, Matterport, Procore, Skydio and OpenSpace, alongside hundreds of contractors, designers and owners evaluating tools for both the jobsite and the back office.
“The firms that show up at ENR FutureTech aren’t here to watch demos. They’re here to find the partners and tools that will help them deliver their next project faster, safer, and at a better margin,” said Scott Seltz, Executive Director and Publisher of ENR.
“That’s what happens when you put AEC leaders and Silicon Valley technology creators in the same room.” The conference will also spotlight late‑stage startup sponsors addressing real‑world AEC challenges, with opportunities for design firms, contractors and venture capital firms to connect with founders.
Key sponsors include Trimble, Smartapp, Procore and Autodesk. Organizers say the 2026 program is structured to equip attendees with tools that drive productivity and safety across projects and organizations, with main‑stage sessions running May 5 and 6 following the May 4 reception.
